"O Come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods" (Ps. 95:1-3).

"O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker" (Ps. 95:6).

"O sing unto the Lord a new song: sing unto the Lord, all the earth. Sing unto the Lord, bless his name; show forth his salvation from day to day. "But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth" (John 4:23-24).

"Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord" (Ps. 150:6).

"I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth" (Ps. 34:1).

"But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:" (1 Pet. 2:9).
