Sedentary Warriors

I am raising up
an army in these days,
but this one does not fight
with weapons as you think,
for these warriors may sit
or lie in wait for My command,
then let Me place My tools in
their still hand and quiet heart,
where prayer may work
the mightiest deed.

Think not,
My precious ones,
that you have little worth.
Many of you do more lying upon
 your bed through the night watches,
beset with great affliction, than others
have done while on their feet since birth.
In a world beset with busyness disease,
do you think I have not planned to give
you good purpose in this time of test?
Each stage of life has value, in Me.
You simply give up instead
of seeking My face.

Trust Me,
all is not ended
until I call your time.
Pray for all as you lie awake
wondering why, then ask Me,
"please end it all!"  Your weapon is
My Word, and I am your captain.  Listen
to My silent lead. The greatest enemy can be
self, and he who no one but I alone can see.
I desire you to help Me defeat him in hearts.
I would not keep you here without reason
that is divine. Trust Me!
Lean not to your own
understanding."
