Teachable Heart

If God is to perform
His work within us
which He so longs to do
and we all need to be done,
then we need to ask Him for
a desire to be taught by Him.
Without a teachable heart,
God alone will provide,
motivation won't come
nor will He open our
ears and eyes to learn
through the Word,
that is His Son.
