A Parent’s Prayer

Thank you, Father,
for this precious gift
You have placed in our care.
Please help us listen to You always
as we raise this dear child of God.
Help us obey Your Word wisdom,
allowing You to guide our decisions,
for You are the “Ultimate Parent.”
Only You know what is best for him.
You alone know our heart concerns.
Please remind us of Your presence
and that You’ll be there for him,
no matter where we may be.
Then, please open his eyes
and his understanding
to You one day,
so he will know
Your love for himself,
and that his Father in heaven
never leaves nor forsakes His children.

In Jesus’ Name We Pray - Amen
