Hearts Astray

When hearts stray
from Me intentionally,
or haphazardly, time is lost
in coming close to My plan for
man, and in that time, the world
enters into the heart and steals it
further away from Me.
The further the heart
moves from abiding
in Me, the harder
it becomes
to find rest in Me, for
My bread is not received,
nor My waters taken in,
to quench spirit thirsting.

Hearts astray
become hardened
to My way, and open
to sin - harder then,
to take Me in.

The longer
the straying,
the more hardened
a heart will become.
Only I can soften it then.
The matter must be
resolved spiritually.
Seek first My
Kingdom,
then all else
will be restored in you.
Rest dwells in God-filled hearts.”
