Let Me Be A Light

Oh Lord, change me.
Change me as only You
can do, to be the light I need to
be, to draw, not repel others.
Let not intimidation reign
or offense rule, when I am
about those seeking You.
Let all mind controlling
spirits be cut off from
all I pray for, that
Your Spirit might
reveal revelation
knowledge they require
to know victory over darkness.

Lord, open their eyes
to see You clearly
through the light of
Your Spirit, who reflects
from me when You choose
to shine forth; then open their
ears to hear the wisdom You bring
forth from my mouth when You choose
to use me as Your vessel of change.
Open their minds to understand
clearly the words You speak
through my tongue,
to help them know You,
when Your Spirit inspires me
to confront at all cost to my heart,
for You are are my faithful caretaker
who I know will never leave nor forsake me.

In Jesus' Name I now pray. Amen.
