Prayer About Time

Oh Lord, bring a revelation
of Your knowledge and wisdom
to your people everywhere, that
our times are not owned by us. It is
a gift from You to us. Each moment
we have on earth is Yours, not ours
to schedule You in.

When did we ever come to believe
we have a choice in this matter?
Oh yes, You allow us freedom
of choice, but like all You
so generously give us,
Your heart is
for us to realize
our times are in Your hands.

Your Word even tells this.
May we live by this saying,
and come to see the beauty
and blessing gained,
by allowing You
to be
our stop watch,
and time keeper,
for all of our days.

Ps. 31:15
