Tender Heart

Do you not realize
I am the One who creates
your heart that beats within
to pump life blood to keep you
alive for Me, but I am also the One
who tenderizes that heart through
life’s trials and it’s pain
to turn it away from self
and outward to others
that they may come
to know Me well
through you -
another one
who I made strong?

Is your tender heart also a beacon light
shining My love to those I place in your sight?
