Be Still

Oh children
of My heart, waiting
is the hardest of all
tasks I ask of you,
for this world allows
impatience, with its
instant way
to gratify
those senses
that rule you,
instead of My Spirit.

For He who
lives within you,
much prefers to see
you rest quietly.
It is only then
He may whisper
in the stillness:
I am God.
