Lifestorms

Waves of life
may pound you, and
storms of life overwhelm
you, wearing away as
they surround you,
but in the midst
My waters never
will forsake you.

Stormy times,
like rough tides,
have purpose allowed
by a loving Master -
to wear away fully
what He wants gone,
refining His own
through disaster.

Lifestorms,
like raging seas,
will not last forever,
for the River of God
reigns over storms,
providing rest in
life encounters.
