Sandpaper People

Sometimes,
we need to be
with sandpaper people -
those placed in our path
who grate and rub us wrong,
for God needs us to help smooth
their rough edges, and we may be
the one He chooses to do
His work.

Sometimes,
they can help Him
refine and humble us,
for surely we are not sinless;
who are we to think we are better?
Christians are not perfect - just saved.
Only God can judge hearts of
all people.

Never run away
from people with
life's grit showing.
Jesus did not avoid any
who came to Him. He served
and demonstrated The Way.
We then must follow Him,
loving all we meet,
as His command says.

Good can come from sandpaper beginnings!
