The Dayspring

"I am the promised
who is the light of day
and night of your life,
able to bring the springs
of My Spirit forth to cleanse you.
I am the well for you to draw upon,
that I place within your open heart,
through which strength will come
in a never-ending rest source,
when you but allow Me
to be the One who gives
and does not take away
until the written time
has come.
