Threatening Tides

Life
may include
troubled waters
flooding our path
and sinking our soul -
enveloping, depriving,
then swallowing all
like threatening tides
enhanced by storm,
overwhelming
walled shores.

Life
with faith
believes good will
prevail, in time, from
Father God, who restores
through His Son, with love,
forgiving for eternity
layered hindrance,
then renewing
by Spirit,
in healing overflow.
